What the hell is wrong with blogger ? It's screwing up . And I'm dead angry about it . I was supposed to blog not too long ago . But blogger refused me my right . Therefore , when I logged in to realize that blogger's finally operating , I REALIZED , yet again , THAT I CANNOT UPLOAD PHOTOS onto "new" blogger . FFFFF/

Well in any case , this cannot dampen my mood of blogging about yesterday .

Yesterday , Hammy and I went to the orchard-somerset-dhoby stretch to celebrate his birthday . I did feel really guilty about going out because I really really really despise the feeling of not being able to complete my homework. It just gets to me . But after looking at his genuinely contented face (in the photos we took . although i know that he must have been happy because he had his fill of milo , dory fish and sushi COMBINED .) , my guilt dissipated and was replaced with satisfaction , knowing that I've managed to give him a full-circle kinda birthday (ie: cake , gift , celebration). Which reminds me why I even volunteered myself as 13's birthday rep . (:

After filling our tummies , and eating until we felt that justice had been done to our 31 dollars , we caught Hangover . Yes , and as you may have already heard about it , YOU GET TO SEE REAL BOOBS . Like omg/rofl/lol/dots . And you don't get to see it once or twice , BUT THRICE . Zomg . Shut up ! But then again , the boobs were obviously not the highlight of the movie . Honestly , the adorable little tot who was featured on the promotional poster beckoned Hammy to watch it . So ever since he saw the baby , he kept saying ,"I want to watch the baby show . Please ..." & I guess he finally got his wish granted after all . Yayness. The end .

Hello , people !

Neat . I've got no time to blog about something that will most prolly take up a lot of space . I'm supposed to be doing my work . My WR's anything but complete . AND I'm so stressed about the upcoming lecture tests that I dare not even prepare for it ! Everything surrounds grades, grades , grades . So much that everything else seems to have faded in comparison . If only life were more to THIS . Of course , my life is undoubtedly more than just studying alone . My life is essentially equal to the addition of hammy , sisterhood , going out and movies . Okay , now that I've typed it out I realized that my life isn't as complex as I made it out to be . Hurhur .

Talking about grades , what is it with me ? I don't know why but once I've set the bar high (okay la , quite high for someone with my calibre. but prolly low for all my smart friends) , I will only dare to surmount it ONLY ONCE with all my might . Which is why I'm still 'drifting' around aimlessly and not feeling the need to get down to some decent studying .

Urgh , this realization is appalling . But then again , if I could do anything about it at all in the first place , would I be wasting time ranting about things that are inconsequential ?

MY INTERNET'S FINALLY WORKING !
Was down with an unfortunate case of flu for the entire day . The bug crippled me ,and it made me feel too weak for tuition . However, I still decided to accompany Hammy cus I promised him not too long ago that I'd do so after his MYEs - which lasted for 2 whole weeks. Aww , poor fella.

So , we went to East Coast Park (ECP) with his friends to cycle and to rollerblade. Strictly speaking , I cycled and he rollerblade-ded . Haha , but poor Hammy hadn't practised for a year , so he fell a couple of times before he managed to move at 0.0009km/hr. I didn't get much of a kick out of cycling either because the park was packed - with annoying amateur bladers who kept falling at the most inconvenient places , bikers who just learnt how to cycle and lovey-dovey couples WHO FELT THAT THEY HAD TO HOLD HANDS although they were already capable of blading without. Seriously , I felt that I was OBLIGED to ram my bicycle into these people at a few instances so as to do the other bikers behind me a huge favour. Oh ya, and I showed off my imba eye-rolling prowess at pedestrians who refused to walk on the "walking" track.

I enjoyed my day because his friends didn't make me feel uninvited . But most importantly , some of Hammy's small gestures showed me how much he cares for me ! It was pouring when we were about to make our way for dinner so we had no choice but to dash under the rain like children . Knowing that I was afraid of being struck by lightning ( Note : I'm not afraid of lightning , I'm just afraid of being struck) , he ran with me , also knowing that he'd be drenched cus of me . Oh well , it's small gestures like these that amplify a single feeling that you have towards others (: And yes , I appreciate all of them.

Was too tired to message/pick up any calls on the way home . Ended up sleeping on the journey home . Mwahaha . Caught 2 movies over the weekend as well . You guys should go nd catch the haunting in connecticut instead of Duplicity (:

Hello , Earthlings !
Of all the time that I have spent on Earth , this week has got to be the most hectic. With a WR deadline that seems to march even closer to me with each passing day and a pointless Chinese oral examination to worry for, how can I not feel that way ?

But then again , I enjoyed all the time that I've spent with my PW mates so far. From all the PW outings , interviews and survey trips , I've learnt a lot about their working attitudes , character and most importantly ... how much HUMOUR they've got inside of 'em. Mwahaha .

We had another PW outing to NHB on Monday (Youth Day- toiled, but with zero respite !) (: Honestly, the interview wasn't very positive. But we decided to make do with the result. Also, we got ourselves PW tees !

Just came back from a very exhilariting , adrenaline-packed shopping trip with Amandy and I must say that it has gotta be one of the more fufilling trips that I've embarked on for the entire of this year .

We visited Tracyeinny's newly established site at Pearls Hill Terrace . Their shop was not as spacious as we expected it to be - cus they're kind of a hit among youths - and their much-publicized sale was not even worth all the hype and publicity cus we ended up having to literally dig through heaps of ordinary looking clothes . But at least we managed to walk away with something . Well , it's something for Amandy . But somethingS for me . Haha . She bought the capped sleeve pullover top (it was the first thing that I spotted upon entering the sale area) cus I encouraged her to do so , while I got myself a blue/white floral print dress and a long cardigan with star-like prints emblazoned all over it (Kinda ahlian , I know , & it will definitely require much courage)

Next , we went to City Plaza - a place that was briefly mentioned by Ger on a couple of occasions . THE THINGS THERE WERE AWESOMELY AND RIDICULOUSLY CHEAP ! Mwahaha . I bought a floral print blazer , a tube(dress) + vest set , a tube(top) , a high collar dress and a pair of shorts . And they cost me less than a hundred dollars ! So people , never visit blogshops again because you now know where they get their stash(es) from . LOL .

Hung around town till 11+ because I wanted to take in the ambience .But I prefer spending my time at places like Borders .

Having nothing better to do on a bright and optimistic Saturday , I decided to count the number of shoes that I actually possess . I've always wondered why my Mum nags about how my shoes are always in a terrible mess - but I now know why she has the tendency to do so - and I feel for her . Poor mama . Fancy opening a cupboard laden with shoes in a quest to look for your favourite Ferragamos only to realize that you've got to paw through your daughter's stinky shoes just so that you may do so .

Well , I am a shopaholic . I don't buy what I need . I buy what I want . So I always lose when I battle with my inner covetous , eagerly acquisitional self . When I stroll past Charles and Keith , I never fail to enter the shop empty-handed and leave with at least one shopping bag . But then again , when assaulted with those sleek , gorgeous little things , who can ever resist ? I hate the fact that they ALWAYS seem to be able to match something that I've got in my wardrobe ( more about that later ) .

So ... after an hour our digging , counting and recounting ( Wanted to reduce the no. of random errors made . Gonna accept the mean ) ...

48 pairs of shoes ! (Excluding the pair(s) that I wear to school !)

Out of which , 10 are spanking new . Goodness me .

Okay & digressing , I thrashed John Tjia in pool ! After which , he vowed to quit playing pool and to hurl himself over the highest balcony . I hope you keep your word , John . Glad Wing brought me to the tards gathering . It did wonders for my ego , really .

Coincidentally , Hammy and I caught Confessions of a Shopaholic yesterday . It wasn't as nice as I expected it to be though . So no stars !

I'm excited about today's outing with Amandy cus we're going to go to Tracyeinny's shop at pearl terrace(I think that that's the add) , the flea market at Haji lane and City Plaza . Haha . I'll try not to get anymore shoes , okay ? But speaking of which , I just remembered that I've got a 5dollar voucher in my wallet ...

Caught yet another movie with Hammy . Guilty as charged - for spending time as if I had nothing better to do . So go on , shoot me .

Well , I basically met him after his ns checkup on Thursday . Met him earlier than planned because he kept complaining about how much blood the army people robbed him of . So okay , we DID want to study but we ended up talking about all things lame under the sky . Haha , I don't know what that means too . Anyways , we caught I Love You , Man later on at night cus ZY recommended it to me .

It was hilarious - only if you appreciate things that are , er , well not that clean (hmm , at least we now know why ZY recommended it to me ) . Haha , can you imagine what would happen if Jodi watched it ? She'd give her trademark look . Awesome . Somehow I just thought about her .

Okay , this has gotta be one of my most random posts . Oh and I hope Wing arrives on the dot tomorrow or else ... or else ... she dies*

D'ya all know what true friends are ? True friends are those who NEVER judge . In fact , when they know that you're being shackled by your past , they'd help you out of it , instead of leaving you in the lurch . That , my friends , is termed, "Friendship" . Oh well , at least I know that my frenemies are a thing of the past cus I know that the girls from Sisterhood are not like that AT ALL .

Hung out with Hammy for the whole of today (not that I wanted to not study . but today's special) and it was goood fun cus I really enjoyed his company (=

Finally managed to catch Ghosts of Girlfriends Past(yayeness , one more item to strike off my list) ! I felt that it was slightly above average cus the storyline was a tad too simplistic but yet unrealistic . Haha .

Oh well , I'm dead beat already , what with scanning through email after email of completed tasks and then paraphrasing them before inserting them into the WR . Tough work , tough work .

So I guess it's so long & farewell - for the time being!

Prettaye !

Raiders of the Lost Ark had another survey outing once again - but this time to Jodi's tuition centre . We initially thought that the kids would be wowed by the colourful pictures that I managed to source for over the internet . But to my dismay , they were far from that and all their answers were a very pessimistic 'no' . ): that's why it feels that all our efforts have somehow come to naught . Yes , we can always alter our results , but wouldn't that be cheating ourselves ? I don't like how it's gonna haunt me till the end of OP .

Anyway , after conducting the survey , Siping and I went to LJ to mugg :D

Then we went to j8 so that I could get some stuff for my face . Ended up getting rosewater-based moisturiser , mascara and some masks that cost be a whopping 50 over dollars . Kena recession ! And after days of deliberation , I also got myself a mud nose pack . Hurhur .

Went to the Judo BBQ afterwards . Hmm , it was really awkward for us cus we weren't that close to the J2s and most of the J1 girls couldn't make it . So we ended up locking ourselves up in the room and self-entertaining . Ha-ha . We also went to downtown east to kill time and I DID A MANICURE FOR HALF PRICE ! Got ourselves an adorable pencil case too ;D Everything was going fine until we were supposed to pay 15bucks at the end - and we did , indignantly . LOL . I shall stop complaining about the price already , cus we already did from the chalet all the way to the MRT station -.-

Sisterhood and I visitied Chinatown and - gasps! - Bugis Street today for our Cultural Trip ! If you think that Bugis Street is anything from cultural , think again . *points at Shili*

Before we started on our mission , we had our lunch at some super hot and humid hawker centre at Chinatown . Although we were supposed to be chionging through our food because of the small amount of time we had together , we ended up engaging in a conversation that ranged from the supernatural to the lame . LOL !

Later , we proceeded to the various parts of Chinatown , namely the street and the pasar malam . Then shili and I saw hellokitty laundry bags that were going for 2 bucks each . So i got it to put my gi =p We scoured around Chinatown amidst the scorching heat also in search for some cheong sum material pouch that I so badly wanted . And of course , our efforts paid off cus I finally found them in a set of 3's . Thanks , sisters !

Oh ya , Sisterhood is like one of Candle's (a shop along Bali Lane) frequent customers . Ya all should check it out . Got myself a satin-like romper today . Hmm , but what kind of shoes do rompers go with ?

Anyway , we had muslim food at Singapore Zam Zam ( Argh , my third time ! ) before hitting the streets ! No one got anything , but i finally managed to get my embroidered pumps ! Yay !

Hammy keeps promises . He said that he'd bring me all the way to bugis to eat the beef murtabak that I've been craving for ever since the last pw trip ; and he did . Yay ! I'm so happy . We ordered a medium sized murtabak , an egg prata and milo dinosaurs . It was damn filling , I tell you . I found it hard to walk properly after that ! LOL !

But before that , we hung out at Macs , but Hammy was so tired today that he looked like this : -.- throughout the day . And when I wanted to take some pictures with him , he still looked like that -.- . Haha .

Anyway , I met up with Ger to pass her her $ for the AE items . Managed to get myself the bandage skirt that I've been looking for and a belt from bugis . Went to Concept Store at haji to ask the shopowner whether or not she has managed to get a replacement for my bag . Unfortunately , it was her supplier's last piece . So the kind lady gave me a discount for it (which i gladly accepted =p )

We decided to eat the japanese-themed hawker centre at Yishun yesterday. It was kind of delicious . But I found the food rather bland after a few mouthfuls .

I honestly don't know what has gotten into me . Heh , I cant seem to focus on things that are supposedly PRESSING AND IMPORTANT . =x . I need more discipline , hmm , but where can it be found ? I checked Junction 8 out but to no avail . So I guess it's elusive -unless I've got ZHAOZHI ! Mwahaha .

Digressing : Yes , Hammy and I have been together for quite some time already and it'll be our second monthsary in a few more days ! Some wonder why I'm able to move on so quickly after an epic breakup - Well , life has to go on , doesn't it ? You cannot possibly expect me to live in regret what . Everyone wants their shot at happiness , me included (=

That's why I suddenly feel like the happiest girl on earth (kinda cliche , but whatever . I dont care) . Cus I managed to find friendship and passion all at the same place . Yay ! The people in NY are seriously fun and kisiao ! And they don't seem to be bothered about my , ahem , past . Heh (: I really appreciate you guys . And hammy is like everything to me although some may say that we're poles apart .

Today was a blast ! Went for the '13 outing in the afternoon and had dinner with them at Just Acia in the evening . It was really fun cept for the movie-watching part cus I've already watched Night at the Museum 2. Went to Haji with Wing before the trip to do an exchange for my faulty retro bag but I ended up getting myself a pair of golden flip flops and a top . LOL ! Give me another PW outing , anytime . I seriously enjoyed the outing cus we had whales of fun although it was supposed to be a sombre data-collecting trip to Sentosa . Cus we got to experience the entire activity as a group and as the group leader , I must say that I'm immensely proud of my mates , jiayou peepos !

First off , we went to Sakae cus Elgin pestered us too . But to our wallets' dismay , we arrived at a timing that didn't have a buffet ! However , there was still a 50% discount for all donburis (: Which is why we ordered damn a lot of sushi etc , esp Elgin -.- haha . Then there was this impatient waiter who prolly doesn't know what the ethics of being a waiter are . Guess what he did ? HE WAVED A YELLOW PIECE OF PAPER AT US WHEN WE CALLED FOR HIM ? Like wth , this isn't soccer , and Elgin could still say that we still have one more chance before we get a red card . LOL ! In any case , Siping's teriyaku chicken don came the last and she was soooo pissed that i told everyone to steer clear from her . WAHAHA . Chili padi lai de !

Spent almost an entire day with hammy and I really really enjoyed every second of it (: Thank you so much !

Went for tuition in the later part of the afternoon with Wing before heading to Bishan for our monthly brow-fix . AND ... I CHOPPED OFF MY BANGS ! Yay . However , my current fringestyle is far from ... eyecatching . Lol .And Hammy said that I resemble his exgf ! This is either one huuuge coincidence or I'm just a case of substitution . Awww , haha , I was just kidding la , deys ! Arghhh , can't wait to hang out with hammy again tomorrow .

Anyway , we caught Monsters VS Aliens and as I've already told hammy , who laughed as if he has never experienced humour before, "It will be super funny de la. No worries ." So , I guess my verdict for this show is very clear - watch it .

THE GP MID YEARS HAVE FINALLY COME TO AN ENDDDD !

I know , I look really exhausted . See , that's how much effort I put into today's paper . But I'm so gonna flunk =/

Went out with "Sister"hood to haji lane (i know , I've run out of places to go to . LOL) . We went to eat at MOF & it was a terribly COSTLY experience . A simple pot of green tea cost us 6bucks . So ... don;t ever go to that place unless you've got excess cash to spare. (:We were telling wingwing how much she's being ostracized in class then the waitress who was at the entrance of MOF suddenly approached us and said, "Sorry , we've only got a table for 4" LOL . Super funny .

Went into some blogshop-turned-shop shop and got myself a sundress (:

When we finally arrived at haji lane after stopping at the shops that were along the way , most of the shops were already CLOSED . Gasps ! Wing was devastated cus she has never been to haji .But then again , maybe if she didnt randomly add people on fb ;they'd take her to places . Heh . There was a shop in haji where we spent the most money in - think it was right smack in the middle of the lane . Littlemin blew 35 whopping dollars on an elastic band that had cloth on it while i bought a supersuper unique bag that has beads and little trinkets in it . Ubergirly ! Siping bought a handmade vintage bracelet that had to be altered by removing almost have of the chain to fit her small wrist . Nur Shili Binte Abdul Aziz got herself a striped stop after much persuasion . Haha , and in case you haven't noticed , someone didn't buy something ... But its stained ): Our buys !

Went for the kyu grade competition today ! Won the first round but lost in the second ! Lol . And as you can see , I grabbed my opponent although the referee already told me to stop . AND given that I couldnt hear a word that the referee was saying, I kept going beyond my white line , and giving others the impression that I cannot stand losing ): IT WAS EMBARRASSING I TELL YOU . MWahaha . Oh well , you shall see my fall from grace towards the end of the vid .

LOL ! It's funny how I got told off via the GC for being horny when I WASN'T THE ONE who talked about "playing chinese chess" in a tutorial room that , very coincidentally and ironically, belongs to the people of the chess club -.-

We went to amk for dinner on Saturday and to the airport to do some hard-core mugging on Sunday . It was awesome cus I managed to complete my tasks . (: (= is such a wonderful person (wish I could elaborate more . But it shall stop here)

I've been having some really awful epiphanies of the late . They're :

Woke up at 630 just so that I could meet LittleMin at 8am at Yishun . We went to the airport to complete our PIs and to study math together . It was kinda dry cus it was math after all and I found the music rather annoying cus the same songs kept repeating themselves . Heh . And we ordered loads of fluid , which made us pay many visits to the toilet , which happened to be conveniently located beside us .

Then , at around 330pm , we decided that enough was enough so we headed to Bugis cus I felt like visiting Haji Lane ! Yes ! Cus I really missed that dear old vintage-themed area . Ahh . Everything was as nice as usual , but most shops were undergoing renovation ): However , I still managed to get a vintage top (it was on offer!) from one of the stores .

Later , we went to the new shopping mall beside Bugis Street to have our dinner at Empire State . We thought that its mascot shared an uncanny resemblance to bape while the restaurant itself was very similar to New York New York . Oh well . Little Min had spag with A HUGE MEATBALL while I had some twin tower burgers or smth . Heh =x

Then it was Bugis street next . We came across these african-themed stall that really appealed to us so she got herself a beaded bracelet and a coin pouch , while I got myself a tribal bagpack ! Super worth the buy man . Cus it was supposed to be 29 bucks but the woman decided to sell it to me for 20 although I DIDNT DO ANY BARGAINING AT ALL . Yay !

I made an effort to drag myself outta bed at 530am just so that the hungry Jodi , Elgin , YY and Siping could get their breakfast . Everything looked serene in the morning because there were not many cars or people to piss you off . Heh .I arrived at Macs at 620 and decided to have my breakfast first because it was still a long way to 7 .

After getting their meals , I walked to school feeling contented cus I was doing a good deed . BUT I FORGOT THAT IT WAS A PUBLIC HOLIDAY AND THAT THE SIDE GATES WERE LOCKED . To make matters worse , I didn't know that there was a short cut to the main gate . So I walked one super huge round before arriving at the main gate . Tsk , & I was already late by the time I got there .

Then , we got down to some serious business . But we ended up taking pics using the webcam on my lappy . Haha . But I'm still quite satisfied with the fact that AT LEAST we managed to think about some strategies for our PW .

Wing and I went to bugis in search of her HIGH HEELED SHOES . Unbelievable ! haha . So we scoured almost every shop in search for that perfect pair of shoes . But we couldn't find anything and had to leave feeling miserable !

Met up with Wing's gang after that . I thought that it was gonna be an awkward experience for me because I didn't know most of them but it turned out great cus everyone was warm and funny . That;s why , although the steamboat was bland , the company was far from it ;D

GO CATCH THIS MOVIE ! It was fucking awesome and hilariously lame . Hmmm , I would say that it centered around looks . Like you know , those typical movies which tell you that looks are not of paramount importance & yadayada , but this is a funnier version of movies of such a genre .

The guy you see on the left is supposed to be the "ugly" guy of the show (although I felt that he looks kinda cute =x) and he has this major crush on some sweet-looking jap babe ( who could totally appear on the cover of FHM -.- ) , not knowing that the babe likes him a lot because of his kind nature. However , he disappoints her unknowingly by telling her that she's physically perfect , instead of telling her that he likes her character . So she makes her own "ugly" suit to "uglify" herself so that he could see the real her . He also buys a "handsome" suit of his own , hoping to be more handsome so that he can be happier , only to realize that he'd rather really be himself . (=

It was rather easy looking for something for Lionel but it wasn't the case for Bei Er ): But we finally managed to find something (that we hope she'll like) that she may like . Heh . Then , I saw this camel-coloured bag sitting innocently at a corner of one of the shops in J8 , but when I looked at it , it screamed , " GET ME ! GET ME !" Hello !

Thank you , guys , for supporting me by coming for the class gathering ! Although I must admit that I noticed that some of the guys were rather bored , I am still very appreciative of all your efforts .(:

Hmmm , Shi Li , Elgin and I were one of the first few to arrive for our pe proj , which was supposed to be done before the gatering . However , ZHAOWEI came late ! So we decided to saunter around natioanl geographic . The products there are really cool but they aren't worth the purchase ): Can you imagine blowing $150 on a top that can be found in G2000 ? Super ridiculous , isn't it ? So all we did was touch touch see see .

The process of doing the proj wasn't a very clean one . In fact , it was a shiny one . Haha . But we did have fun as we gossiped and did the proj all at the same time . But it seemed that Shi Li was the only one who was feminine enough to tell us that we couldn't paste ): And it's true , we really couldn't paste . HAHA . I shall upload some pics to show you the contrast ! Super funny .

Then , it was the class gathering . BUT ALMOST EVERYONE WAS LATELATELATE ! Grrr . But it's okay (:

Those who came sat around the deck and waited for the others . But I think that they looked rather unhappy cus they didn't get to eat in a restaurant after all the waiting ): And , the location that I picked for our class dinner was a number 1 make-out spot , with over 14 couples making out SIMULTANEOUSLY . It was disgusting and it didn't help with the digestion of our food ): I feel bad about the poor arrangement & I hope that I can be wise enough as to plan another outing that is more decent the next time round ( only if there's a next time!). When I entered the hall and plonked mysef down onto one of the cold and hard chairs , I was surprised when the "sister"hood sang a birthday song . Then ! Out of the corner of my eye , I realized that they've prepared a birthday cake for me , with a candle on it , of course ! I felt super touched by what they did . Back in the old days , my birthday was just any other day to everyone else ): Oh well , at least I've got true friends now ! Yayness !

I really enjoyed today through and through , BUT I ABSOLUTELY DESPISED HAVING TO SIT IN THE HALL FOR 5 WHOLE HOURS JUST TO LISTEN TO A MEANINGLESS TALK . Therefore , I felt that the best part of the talk was breaktime !

I Let Older Volunteers Enlighten Your Own Universe !

Although we were not greeted by fine weather , our moods were not dampened (:Yay !
To kickstart our monthsary , HMS and I decided to satisfy our hunger first before doing some hard-core retail therapy !
After a lot of groaning ( Our stomaches groaned , not us) , we finally decided to have our lunch at Fig&Olive . We chose that restaurant cus I really liked the Brazilian-themed ambience and their set lunches ! So , I had a melted cheese on fish meal because there wasn't much of a choice for someone as picky as me ): HMS had some spicy ketchup chicken thing that came with rice that tasted a lot like nasi briyani . Heh .

Then , we began our hard-core shopping !

He wanted to get speakers for himself walked around the huge mall & eventually found ourselves at Best Denki , staring at some dirt cheap speakers ( 2 speakers + 1 volume adjuster thing for $29.90) . We then tested the quality of the sound & yadayada , only to find that it was SUPER GOOD ! Then , after lots of testing , we got the salesperson to get a new set for him , BUT IT WAS OOS ): How sad , so HMS was so disappointed . Awww ):

Later , as I walked into more shops with him , I came across a ripcurl straw bag that cost $26.50 ! And as you know , being me , I automatically got the salesperson to get a new piece . Call me a spendthrift if you want , cus that's precisely what I am ! But , the good thing was that I only managed to find that one bag and the next I bought was an xs hot pink top from TOPMAN with HMS . =/ Oh yay , I'm also quirky , other than being a spendthrift .My other purchases also include a BEAN (yes , it's a bean bean can really germinate and grow) and a vintage butterfly clip from Daisu .
We played pool ! I'm a pretty darn good player . Teehee ;D Let me know if you'd like to challenge me .

We went to Harbourfront Centre to eat even more food after all the shopping .

Then it was muuuveee time ! Yayness ! I guess it was kind of a respite for HMS because he was "coerced" into shopping with me . Thanks , dear , I really appreciate it (:

& as ya all must've guessed , we watched Coming Soon . It's some spooky Thai thriller where a ghost from a movie keeps gouging people's eyes out (that's why it's rated NC16) because she ASSUMES that they are her children (who died tragically in a fire) . And those who happen to watch that particular movie will die after watching the scene where she was hung to death . Unfortunately , a guy named Shane watched that part of the movie while he was secretly filming the movie ( something that the loan sharks wanted him to do . He didnt do it on his own accord.) so he was haunted by the ghost . But soon after , he realized that he had been going after the wrong person because it was the actress playing the ghost that died and not the ghost herself .

Argh , crappy fringe !

After my stupid, complicating , annoying , dumb chem tuition , I cabbed to j8 and SHOPPED ! There was an outfitter girls/ OP / Hypnosis sale at the basement . But everything was strewn all over the area so it was practically in a bad mess . So I had to dive through the many piles of clothes before I eventually found my one true love - a ten dollar retro mini dress ! Gasps ! I felt that it was super dirt cheap and I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT . And so I ... BOUGHT IT !

I'M FINALLAYE DONE WITH MY MRP . And I feel like saying : YAAAA MANNN ! Haha .

The entire week had been extremely extremely stressful ):

I lost my much-needed rest , because of the mrp .

I had tantrums , because of the mrp .

I've ignored all my other subs , because of the mrp .

So ! I'm glad to say that I can finally put it behind me and start chionging like some mad dog for my other subs , mainly Chinese and Physics . Heh =X

We were supposed hang out and celebrate the birthdays of all the march babies on tuesday ( ahem , I'm included ! ) at the cafe cartel . But almost everyone wanted to complete their mrps so we decided to have our lunch at macs instead . We usually need an entire lifetime to know a person well . However , through that one meal , I believe that I've known elgin so much better - BECAUSE HE PLACED FRIES OF THE SAME LENGTH ON TOP OF HIS FILLET O FISH BEFORE PUTTING ANOTHER LAYER OF FRIES ON THE FIRST AND LAYERING IT WITH CHILLI . It only goes to show that he's super meticulous ! Haha . Then Shi Li showed off her " white " vanilla cone by inserting a straw in it and sucking it . Like , who ever eats ice cream LIKE THAT . But that wasn;'t the point . The point was that she said that she enjoyed sucking "the whitewhite thing" Hahahahaha .

Oh well , then came thursday when Siping suddenly looked at me in a sombre manner .

Siping:" Nicole ar , will you be pissed if you find out that I've been lying all these while ? "

Me: *raises brow* " No... But why ? Have you done something that I don't know of ?"

Wing , gummy bear , hl , lionel , shili , zw , littlemin and I met for breakfast at 645am because we were supposed to go for some sports event which was organised by our school . And surpsisingly enough , everyone was on time . Then , after breakfast , we waited for shenglin at some bus stop that was opp the serangoon bus interchange . Then out of the BLUE , we saw a BLUE figure running hastily towards us - then it struck us . It was sheng lin , who wasn't in his house tee !

When we finally reached our destination after walking through damn a lot of flats and taking a half an hour bus ride , THE SPORTS CARNIVAL WAS CANCELLED . Although I knew I was supposed to feel unhappy , I actually felt relieved ( cus I suck at running . Shh !) . So , the sisterhood and some guys headed to parkway parade where littlemin and I had our 2nd breakfast =/ Next , we kinda cam-whored for a little bit before I left for home with danny and siping .

Well , to start things off , I must say that I LOVED ORIENTATION WEEK ! It was duper fun and it was a time when our class was truly able to bond . Go , gloriO ! Although we had to do a lot of waiting before we could play the games that have been arranged for us , the wait was pretty much justified (:

However , the first day of the orientation was the most boring . zzzz . Yes , BORING ! Because we weren't familiar with one another so no one really dared to talk incessantly . Haha . We were also introduced to our 31st mass dance - which revolved around some stupid HSM (note : it's high school musical , and not my bf )song . Grr , childish . And my partner turned out having some serious bladder problems as he kept wanting to visit the toilet . I mean , i can totally understand because with a dance THIS challenging and boring , who wouldn't ?

We went to sentosa on the 2nd day for some beach games and for even more bonding . Of all the games that we've played , the one that required us to skip using hula hoops before turning ourselves silly around a stick was the most ridiculous . And I'm not saying so because I humiliated myself in front of all my classmates . I think that it was stupid because everyone looked so dumb while playing the game . Haha . And after all the fun , we dragged our sweaty , sticky and sandy bodies to the deck of Vivo for a mini class gathering cum dinner . It was incredibly heartwarming as everyone took turns telling jokes which ranged from lame to super funny . The ogls also told us some ghost stories , which technically only scared wingwing and shili . Heh . It was about some 90 degree headed ghost ( text me if you wanna hear the full story . Kind of lengthy for a blog post .

Day 3 was similar to day 1 , albeit it was less boring .

Day 4 was the best ! To end things off on a high note , the councillors (excuse me if I can't spell this word ): ) organised a Disco night for us . Um , I felt that it was uberfun because the ambience of the hall was completely transformed into something completely unimaginable . But everything was intact cept for the booze ):

I made a fool out of myself .

Halfway through GP lecture , Wingwing called . So , in my hurry to attempt to pick up the phone DISCREETLY , I made a complete and absolute fool out of myself ! ): I was so determined to dash out of class so that I could answer the phone call before she hung up so I kept planning my exit out of the lt in my head . I was so absorbed in planning my escape that when the lecturer asked the entire group if any of us had any questions , I EXCLAIMED , "NO!" . The others just stared blankly at me .

Wa lau eh , I swear that that had to be one of the most embarrassing moments of my life . You should have seen the entire occurence . I think it could even have made it into America's Funniest Moments .

Oh ya , WHAT'S WITH THE OBSSESSION OVER DICKIES BAGPACKS ? Damn it , I have no clue myself ... i don't even know what the motivation behind this current craze is . And I feel as if I were the only one NOT INVOLVED in this fad . Even Wingwing has joined the army . Am I extremely dated or what ? Haha . So , for the past 3 days (not including today , of course) , I willed myself not to get the monstrosities for myself that most of the people term , "dickies" . BUT ! I still succumbed to the allure of THE DICKIES . Arghhhhhhh , so I bought a hot pink checkered Jansport bagpack . Yeah , I know I'm a mindless loser who has zero self-control .

I love bagpacks ! (: And i've started to appreciate dickies . I even made an effort to visit 77th street to pick out the one I liked best in case anybody asks me in the future - I chose the black and white striped thing that has stars .

My stupidity aside , I'M SO LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT WEEK ! Yayness ! After a week's worth of lectures , we're finally gonna have our orientation proper . I'm so excited !

Gahhh , I ended up choosing P,C,M,E , with P being my H1 sub . I'm lousy at chem and phy and math ... WAIT ! THEN WHAT AM I EVEN DOING IN A JC ?!

We had GP lessons first . And there was this game that the lecturer wanted us to play . We were supposed to answer questions which concerned politics and the economy and every correct answer gave us a chance to win a "sad-looking" card (that's what the lecturer said) . And the student with the most cards could walk away with something that was supposed to be attracted and extremely coveted . Okay . So when the games began , only one hand kept shooting up initially . And the owner of that hand went on and on about the question that was posed by the lecturer . Then it hit me - I havent been reading the papers ): Cus I couldnt understand a word he was saying . After that guy answered a couple more questions , another guy , who was equally impressive , answered the questions and threatened to beat the first guy . Then melissa was like , ' Aiya , just let them fight lah ! ' The competition between the two guys was intense but the second guy won eventually . And the "attractive" and "extremely coveted" prize that he won was a GP book from rj -.-

We had our 2hour-long break next . In secondary school , we didn't even get the full 30 minutes that we deserved , so I thought that the 2hour-long break was a gift from heaven cus it allowed us to engage in some fun activites that wasn't mentally challenging for once in the entire dayyyy. Hah ! Which was why I decided to play tennis and soccer . Yes , soccer ! And I became the goalie . I thought that it would be a piece of cake cus I was , after all , 3rd for some primary school soccer thing but I kept letting the ball in ! ):

So no more soccer for me ! ><

I like Mr Pun (our phy lecturer) ! He's super funny despite his age ( we always assume that senior teachers are very strict , right ? ) . This was only of the many jokes he told :
Mr Pun : Do ya all know what mole is ?
Us : *-.-* yes....
Some boy with too much initiative : *shoots up hand*
Mr Pun : Okay okay , you go , you go .
The same boy : Um ... *hesitates* Amount of atoms in a substance !
Mr Pun : Not bad , he's actually half-correct . If you all want the real definition , go to the internet and you'll find many moles but you'll eventually find the one you want .

After school , Mel and I went to J8 to get our desserts ! I guess it was cus our mouths felt like they had to chew on something cus we weren't really feeling hungry . On top of some of the things that I bought , I got a vintage-looking watch and I psychoed her into getting the white one . Haha , the power of persuasion ! So she was like , " Next time cannot go out with you already . Will spend money one . " So please beware people !

I thought that the first day(today) would be a blast . However , the day started with a BORING welcome speech made by the principal , an equally BORING tour around the campus (which I've seen a gazillion times ) and another BORING presentation on the various subs and combis .

Okay . Let's just hope that life in ny isn't actually LIKE THAT .

I guess the only consolation for me were some girls in my og . They were funny and super enthu and surprisingly enough , I made friends with a girl who shares the same name as me ! After the boring dose of presentations and speeches made by various teachers , not only did I decide to take History as one of my H1's but I've also decided to make the best out of my 2 years !

Ny's pe uniform actually looks flattering . Yay ! I actually have a decent set of uniform that looks acceptable - after , what , 10 years of education ?

After school , 3 other girls ( 1 from the same og group , while the other 2 are friends of the girl from the same og group ) and I cabbed all the way to J8 and we figured that we should do it more often cus we ended up paying only $1.25/person for the whole trip . It's quite affordable and it definitely beats cramming into a slow-moving , jerky sbs bus right ? Initially , I thought that I would be awkward around them but I felt really close to them in the end ! So close that we ended up cam whoring and doing all things girly(=

Yay , tomorrow's gonna be the day when school OFFICALLY begins ! Okay , so our lessons may not OFFICALLY BEGIN tomorrow but still , IM EXCITED but slightly apprehensive . Heh . I want new mates , new experiences and new stuff (i.e : new school shoes etc) .

Sadly , HMS and I are in different schools . So my fingers are crossed ! Hopefully he won't fall for some smartass , decent chick !

Hello , earthlings !

I love blogging . As life keeps moving on with every tick of the hands of the clock , we must never forget to be thankful for the things that have made us the people we are today . Before I begin to blog about the things that incite , upset and bore me ( in general - life ! ) , these are a few things that I'd like to mention :

1) HMS ! - As cheesy as it may sound , I feel indebted and eternally grateful to him as he has (and still continues to ) braved all storms with me . Usually , when it rains , it pours . So problems rarely come unaccompanied . When one appears , many more will march your way . And this has precisely been the case for me in 2008 . What with the problems that I have experienced . That's why I think that he is one jewel who has the balls to go through these obstacles with me all these while . Thank you !

2) Xinyi and Huijun ! - The former exudes more enthusiasm and happiness than her body can ever contain while the latter comes up with horny surprises and claims that she did it only because of us ( i.e. : Xin and I) . Um.... right , we know it's for our own "good" . Love you guys( I mean , girls!) (: Okay , so let's move on !

3) Geraldine and Amanda ! - For never looking down on me and being true blue gal pals (:

3) The people who hate me ! - Yes , I'm fully aware that almost the entire level despises me and would like to pin me to a cross to raze me to the ground . But without this lot , I wouldn't have known how real the phrase , ' Quality always takes precedence over quantity ' , is . And I know that it sounds cliche and possibly even passe but what doesn't kill me only makes me stronger (: so sorry folks !

Life stinks at times . But when it doesn't , it treats me with TLC .At exactly 650am and a few seconds , I realized that I have been posted to nyjc ! And it felt like liberation to me cus it meant that I'm free from the hellish NCHS .

Digressing , I want to say that I'm materially deprived ! Although I bought myself a MAC eyeshadow recently , I don't feel satisfied ! These are the things that I still want . So ... Note to self , buy :
1) Vintage Wallet ( most prolly anything unique from haji lane)
2) Sports shoes ( for school la )
3) Black vest
4) MAC Eye shimmers
It's not to much to ask for , hor ? Heh .

On the many occasions that I've been out with amanda , we managed to unearth some pretty fabulous finds from the heart of bugis street ! We found velvet-like fringe bags , hippy gladiator-fringe sandals and adorable mary janes . Oh yes , and if you people have got the time , make a trip to Mustafa ! I mean it !

Hmmm , CNY has been relatively typical albeit it has been fun . I mean , my family and I go through the same kind of fun every year . Haha ! So I shall let some of my pictures speak for themselves .
